The home’s structure is grounded in dry-stacked granite spine walls that extend directly into the landscape, visually stitching architecture and terrain together.
Inside, reclaimed oak boards, old fence timber, and soft neutral plaster define a palette that is both rugged and refined. The collaboration between Eigelberger Architecture & Design and Elizabeth Stanley Design produced interiors that balance contemporary precision with the warmth of a mountain lodge. Wide-plank threshing floors, bronze fixtures, and hand-thrown ceramics offer subtle texture and tactility throughout.
Light is the unspoken material. The home opens toward the south, framing sweeping views of Ajax Mountain and Highlands Bowl through MHB and Ottima steel windows. Every detail — from custom steel stairs to Heartwood cabinetry — was crafted with permanence in mind.
