Burning fossil fuels leads to emission of significant amount of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere causing global warming and environmental problems. Therefore the development of functional and comfortable houses which are both energy efficient and environmentally friendly are in big demand.
The architectural team presents “Flower House 2030”, that will meet the requirements of the future combining both eco-friendliness and comfortable habitat.
The house is designed in the shape of a flower with the main building in the form of a sphere. It is equipped with movable solar panels in the form of flower petals and a special reservoir for water heating.
The sphere (10 meters in diameter) will be located at the height of 10 meters and will have 3 floors inside: kitchen, bathroom, laundry and rainwater purification system on the first floor. The living room and bedrooms on the second floor and the water heating reservoir on the third floor.
The additional building in the shape of a hemisphere (7.5 meters in diameter) with a landing pad will be constructed for electric flying vehicles. There will be two floors: an autonomous greenhouse on the first floor and the landing pad on the second floor. A bridge will connect the two buildings, providing additional strength to the whole construction. The elevator will be inside the main support pipe.
12 flower petals (solar panels) with total power of 50 kV/h will be located around the main building and 6 solar panels with total power of 35 kV/h will be located around the additional building. Artificial intelligence and electromechanical drives will move all solar panels and adjust them to an effective angle to obtain the maximum amount of solar energy. In case of bad weather artificial intelligence will compactly fold the solar panels, according to the principle of closing the petals of the flower, significantly reducing the “windage” and providing the safety.
The water heating reservoir will also be used for heating the living area and the greenhouse. It will have a glass lid in the form of a dome, which is a convex-concave lens to focus sunlight.
The “Smart house” system based on artificial intelligence will control energy consumption, microclimate, illumination, cleanliness and disposal of household waste, collection and purification of rainwater.
The architects hope that the project will contribute to the development of eco-friendly, energy-efficient houses that will be built in the nearest future.
